In January, we will be kicking off our next Box Tops collection contest. It will run
from Monday, January 12th through Friday, February 13th (5 weeks).
It will be a “Box Tops Snowball Battle”! So over the holiday break, be sure to keep
clipping those Box Tops and get ready for another exciting contest in January!
Our school receives money based on the number of Box Tops we collect and
submit each year. Last year, our school collected 30,000 Box Tops and earned
over $3000 through this program! With your help, we can earn even more for our
school this year.
There are 4 easy ways to earn cash for our school:
- 1) Clip Box Tops from your Favorite Grocery Products. Look for the pink
Box Tops coupon on brands like Cheerios®, Betty Crocker®, Huggies®,
Cottonelle®, Pillsbury®, Ziploc®, Kleenex®, Hefty® and many more. Each
Box Top coupon is worth 10¢ to our school, up to $20,000. Students can
turn in their Box Tops to their teacher. If every student turned in just 50 Box
Tops, that would mean $3750 for our school!
- 2) Participate in Local Store Promotions. Area stores like Publix, Sam’s
and BJ’s periodically offer promotions for earning Bonus Box Tops.
- 3) Sign Up at http://www.btfe.com/2008. Earn 5 Bonus Box Tops for our
school just for signing up. Enter your information and designate
Carrollwood Elementary PTA as the school you are supporting. You will
receive a confirmation email after you sign up. Simply click where it says
“Click here to claim 5 bonus box tops for your school”. Encourage your
friends and family to sign up too! Once you sign up, you will receive a
monthly email with recipes and coupons for participating products.
- 4) Shop Online through the Box Tops Marketplace. Start every online
shopping trip by going to http://www.btfe.com/marketplace. Visit all of your
favorite stores like JCPenney, Lands' End, Oriental Trading, Red Envelope,
Target, Sears, Walmart, Office Depot and more. Over 60 popular online
stores have agreed to donate up to 8% of your qualifying purchase to our
school, up to $20,000. Add this link to your "favorites" and earn money for
our school every time you shop online, at no additional cost to you.

Current Contest: "Back to School with Box Tops"
The “Back to School with Box Tops” Collection Contest is underway. Over 200
collection sheets (5000 Box Tops) have been turned in already! What a great start
toward reaching our goal for the year of 35,000 Box Tops (just 50 Box Tops per
student)!
The winner of the ‘early bird drawing’ was Gracie Zas – 5th Grade. She won a
movie night gift basket filled with popcorn, and candy and gift cards to
Blockbusters and Pizza Hut. Congratulations Gracie!
Please continue to clip Box Tops and send in your completed collection sheets for
this contest. Additional collection sheets are available in the school office next to
the PTA bin. Remember, the more sheets you turn in, the greater your chances
are of winning one of the grand prizes! Turn in your completed sheets to your
teacher. Your teacher will drop them in the big pink Box Tops box in the office. The
last day to turn in collection sheets for this contest will be Wednesday, October
15th. The final drawing will take place on the morning show on Monday, 10/20.
There will be one winner drawn from each grade level. The possible prizes are…
a Webkinz, a gumball machine, a gift cards to either Barnes and Nobles, Game
Stop, Toys R Us or Muvico Theatres or two free passes to Lowry Park Zoo!
